Leash

Humanity lies collapsed like a massive carcass that is as vast as the continents gnawed away by corporations.

As an older peer (I assume he is a geologist) writes in a blog post (he deleted this part from his post –not sure why.. so I choose not to reference him directly here): "The collective amnesia we are bathing in is so tick it deserves its own zip code."

Last year we lost David Lynch, then Nihat Genç. And now, we lost Michael Parenti.

With all these losses, humanity is left more and more in the hands of the lunatics. No matter how much we read Zweig or Graeber, we are at a loss for how to avoid falling into despair over humanity.

We continue to adapt to the silence. As Nihat Genç writes "... we all know that our dreams are suffocating in the cages of our minds, yet we continue to read news about healthy living."
